Secret Shore
I’m drawn to the quiet places that feel untouched by noise — the kinds of spaces where time slows down, and the natural world seems to speak in a softer voice. The Secret Shore grew from that feeling of stillness, refuge, and connection.
Rather than focusing on every literal detail, I wanted this painting to hold more of an atmosphere and emotional presence — the rhythm of water, the hush of coastal air, and the sense of being alone with something both peaceful and untamed.
My process combines oil and mixed media in layered, intuitive ways, allowing texture, translucency, and softened passages to emerge naturally over time. I’m interested in balancing expressive realism with abstraction so the work feels more like a memory or emotional experience than a fixed moment.
More than anything, I hope this piece invites a sense of calm, wonder, and quiet reflection — as though you’ve stepped into a hidden place meant just for you.
