Where Imagination Meets Reality

I have always been a dreamer—drawn to beauty, possibility, and the quiet moments that stir something deeper within us. 

Today, I express that way of seeing through my own fluid interpretation that exists somewhere between Abstract Realism and Contemporary Art. Working primarily in oil over mixed media, and inspired by the Gulf Coast, I seek to express serenity and a connection to the natural world.

Based in the Pensacola and Gulf Breeze, Florida area, I draw much of my inspiration from the beauty of Florida’s Emerald Coast—from the movement of water and coastal wildlife to the grace of flowers, figures, and the ever-changing light of the natural world.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and retired Registered Nurse, and each chapter of my life has shaped the artist I have become. Being a lifelong dreamer and idealist has taught me to look beyond what is immediately visible—to search for light, possibility, and meaning. That perspective is at the heart of my art.

My Artistic Journey

My work is an exploration of light, beauty, and the moments that connect us to something greater than ourselves.

I work primarily in oil over mixed media, building each painting through layers of texture, mark-making, and color. Beginning with acrylics, inks, collage, and other mixed media, I create a foundation that reflects the complexity and richness of life. From there, I layer oils to refine, reveal, and bring moments of harmony, depth, and luminosity to the surface.

My artistic practice has been further developed through the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program, where I deepened my understanding of mixed media, painting techniques, and the creative process.

Inspired by the natural world, my surroundings along Florida’s Emerald Coast, and the wonder I find in God’s creation, I paint subjects that invite reflection—the movement of water, the grace of wildlife, the delicate beauty of flowers, and the quiet presence of the human spirit.

Beneath each image is a deeper story: one of hope, resilience, peace, and the beauty that can emerge even through seasons of uncertainty.

I am also a Juried Artist Member of Quayside Art Gallery in Pensacola, Florida, where I have the opportunity to be part of a vibrant community of artists and collectors. I currently serve as a Screening Director Trainee, participating in the process of reviewing artists seeking membership in the gallery.

Art With Meaning

I believe art is more than something to be viewed; it is a conversation between the artist and the collector.

Each painting carries a moment, an emotion, or a reminder of something meaningful. My hope is that each work finds its way into a space where it can be experienced and appreciated—not only as a beautiful work of art, but as a source of connection, reflection, and inspiration that continues to speak long after the first encounter.

My paintings and fine art prints are created for collectors who are drawn to luminous contemporary art, abstract realism, and the beauty of the Gulf Coast and the natural world.

Through my art, I strive to create spaces where light lives, where beauty is remembered, and where the viewer is invited to pause—to experience the wonder of creation that surrounds us and the divine spark that lives within each of us.
