I am a contemporary oil/mixed media artist, mother, grandmother, wife, and retired Registered Nurse. I have always been known as a dreamer and an idealist - someone who believed in the beauty of possibility, the power of hope, and the quiet moments that connect us to something greater.
My artistic work is an exploration of light, beauty, and the quiet moments that connect us to something greater than ourselves.
I work primarily in oil over mixed media; I build each painting through layers of texture, mark-making, and color. Beginning with acrylics, inks, sometimes collage, and other mixed media, I create a foundation that reflects the complexity of life - then I refine from there with oils to reveal moments of harmony, depth, and luminosity.
Inspired by the natural world, my surroundings along the Emerald Coast, and the wonder found in God's creation, I paint subjects that invite reflection: the movement of water, the grace of wildlife, the delicate beauty of flowers, and the quiet presence of the human spirit. Beneath each image is a deeper story - one of hope, resilience, peace, and beauty that can emerge even from seasons of uncertainty.
I believe that art is more than something to be viewed; it is a conversation between the artist and the collector. Each painting carries a moment, an emotion, or a reminder of something meaningful.
